Azenzi ("we," "us," "our") is a consumer technology brand based in Ghana. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit azenzi.co or place an order, how we use it, and what rights you have over it.
2. Information We Collect
When you place an order, we collect: your name, phone number, email address, delivery region, and delivery address. When you sign up for updates on our News page, we collect your email address. When you contact us on WhatsApp, we receive your phone number and whatever you send us (including payment confirmation screenshots).
We also automatically collect standard technical information when you browse our site, such as your device type, browser, and general location, through Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, which help us understand site traffic and measure the effectiveness of our advertising.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: process and deliver your order, contact you about your order status, respond to customer support questions, send you updates if you've opted in, and improve our website and advertising based on aggregate traffic patterns.
4. Who We Share It With
We share order information with the courier partners who deliver your product, and with the third-party services we use to process orders, payments, and contact forms (currently including Web3Forms). We use Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Analytics for advertising and site analytics, which means anonymized or aggregated browsing data is shared with those platforms. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
5. Payment Information
We accept payment through MTN Mobile Money and may introduce other secure payment providers over time, such as Paystack. When you pay via Mobile Money, we do not process or store your Mobile Money PIN; you confirm payment to us manually via WhatsApp, and we only retain the transaction details you choose to share for order verification. When you pay through a third-party payment processor such as Paystack, your card and payment details are handled directly by that provider under their own security standards; Azenzi does not receive or store your full card number or payment credentials.
6. Cookies & Tracking
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) to understand how visitors use our site and to measure our advertising. You can disable cookies through your browser settings, though some site features may not work as intended if you do.
7. Data Retention
We keep your order information for as long as necessary to fulfill your order, handle any warranty claims, and comply with our legal obligations. You can request deletion of your information at any time (see Section 9).
8. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Rights
Under Ghana's Data Protection Act, you have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you, request corrections to inaccurate information, request deletion of your information, and withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.
